What Paws & Whiskers collects, which is very little.
What this site collects
Paws & Whiskers uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and outbound product clicks in aggregate. That involves cookies set by Google and an anonymised record of pages visited, referrer, approximate location and device type. It is used to see which guides are worth updating, nothing else.
What this site never collects
- Accounts, passwords or payment details. Nothing is sold here directly.
- Health information. Do not send it; there is nowhere for it to go.
Outbound links
Product links go to retailers such as Amazon and manufacturer stores. Those sites set their own cookies and run their own tracking once you land there, governed by their privacy policies, not this one.
Server logs
The web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) for security and debugging, and they are rotated regularly.
Your choices
Browser-level tracker blocking and Do Not Track are respected by design here, because there is nothing to opt out of beyond what is described above. Questions about data go to the contact address on the about page.
